About this job
Employee engagement is as important now as it ever has been. Even prior to the recent events, more and more companies have taken the initiative to really listen to their employees and deliver on initiatives to make the workplace a more enjoyable and successful place.
If you recognise this and have experience in internal communications, employee wellbeing or employee engagement and you would like to join a Sunday Times Top 100 company, this could be the opportunity for you! Working in an already engaged workforce, you will be responsible for leading on a range of employee engagement and external CSR activities. Day-to-day you will be working in a team of 3 with the overall aim of engaging employees through effective internal communications, proactively identifying and managing risks in wellbeing and understanding what more the business can do to increase engagement and productivity. This could take the form of employee surveys, using the intranet to keep employees informed or running events for CSR, when events are being run again!
This is a really varied role so if you require structure to your day, this may not be the position for you. You’ll be interacting and engaging a lot of different employees and external stakeholders so you’ll need to be a strong verbal and written communicator. Ideally, you’ll have experience in either internal communications, employee engagement or wellbeing position and have a passion for making a positive impact on a values-driven organisation.
Based in York, this position is commutable from Harrogate, Leeds, Wetherby, Selby and surrounding areas.
