If you have experience at a mid/senior level in a Marketing Agency and you’re looking for that first, elusive move client-side, this could be the role for you!
Roles like this don’t come around too often, you’ll be joining a business that has private-equity backing and are investing in technology, acquiring new businesses and are putting in place an ambitious people strategy with you as a key cog in the machine.
You’ll provide valuable leadership to a marketing team of 4 to begin with which has space to expand in the coming year. If you take satisfaction in taking on the challenges of managing a junior team and seeing them develop into the best versions of themselves, this would be an excellent position for you.
This company is in the B2B industry and although client-side, you’ll have a range of partners to run marketing campaigns for. Each has different strategies, tones of voice and objectives across multiple channels including offline, Social Media, SEO, events and anything else to achieve those goals. You’ll be a strategist, coordinating tasks across the marketing team and you’ll even have the luxury of an in-house creative team to call upon!
Culturally, you’ll be working in an environment which is all about growth so you’ll be challenging yourself and others to embrace new things, try out something different and don’t be afraid to fail for the sake of progress. There is a ‘Head of’ and ‘Director’ level above this role and with lots of ambition coming from the business, it’s a great place to be to realise longer-term personal goals.
Ideally, you’ll come from a background in a marketing agency, now or in the past, with demonstrable experience in team development. A good mix of sectors and marketing experience is ideal and you’ll have an advantage if you have done a lot in the B2B industry. You could be working at a large or small marketing agency at Senior Account Manager/Account Director level or similar. There will be a small amount of travel with this role across the UK for events and meeting client partners.
