My client is one of the best funded retail finance businesses in an extremely fast growing market. They’re a relationships first business that predominantly serve mid-cap retailers and e-commerce businesses (their clients turnover typically sits anywhere between £10m to £X00m). The company has put a very significant investment in their customer service and technology, which has led to a NPS of +59% – which is top 5% in market.
After securing significant funding and recruiting a top leadership team, they’re now applying for a banking license and expanding in to new markets. As a result, the business has an agenda to hire top talent and, in particular, they’re looking to grow their account management and business development functions.
This role will give you a chance to use your drive and commercial acumen to craft the future of the business. As a Business Development Manager, the company will look to you to actively identify, develop, secure and “set-live” their point of sale credit facilities with UK retailers.
It’s a prerequisite that you have some existing experience in the financial services market – ideally POS but they would also be keen to see candidates from insurance, banking and fintech.
