About this job
Succeeding and surviving as a small business in the current climate is pretty impressive. What’s even better is a company that has managed to navigate the recent uncertainty and are creating new positions to continue the growth. Better Placed are working with a professional services business that has managed to do just that and they’re on the lookout for a talented Business Development Executive.
This is an industry that has a small but growing number of companies and the vast majority of the market is untapped. This means the ‘boom’ phase and best time to get in is around about now. You’ll be selling a service and you’ll be targeting companies in the FMCG, Engineering or Tech industries amongst others on a proactive basis.
What’s great about the company is the ethical way they go about their work and how they treat others as well as their employees. You’ll be entitled to 30 days holiday + Bank holidays because life is for living a bit too! You’ll also be working towards an uncapped commission scheme so you’ll be rewarded properly for your efforts.
This is an industry that is becoming more competitive so you’ll need to have a strong commercial awareness, urgency and a background in business development, sales, recruitment or anything similar. You’ll be researching potential customers and making a high volume of calls so a strong work ethic and the ability to make a good first impression is key.
If you have a desire to take control of your financial freedom and you have some existing experience in sales, business development or recruitment, please apply now!
Based in Leeds city centre, this Business Development Executive role will be remotely based initially with a return to the office when appropriate.
