If you're a marketing strategist open to new things, or a seasoned Campaign or Brand Manager looking for a step up, perhaps this role with an pure-play business will be what you're looking for. The budgets are £multi-million, you'll be supported by a team of top-notch specialists in all areas of marketing including digital acquisition, campaign management and ATL, and you'll be the conductor of this orchestra.

Your overall goal is to grow market share of a product in a competitive industry, predominantly in the UK market. You'll be utilising different teams and market research to analyse competitors and build out existing and new propositions. This requires knowledge on numbers and commercials but you'll most likely fall into the more creative end of the creative vs scientific types. The company has big plans and they need someone like you to come in and help them get there.

In return, on offer is a great package including a substantial bonus, enhanced healthcare, financial support in professional development and a range of other benefits. There will be a reasonable degree of flexiblity longer-term, with a guideline of being in the Yorkshire office 2-3 days per week.

Ideally, you'll be very comfortable in setting strategic brand/proposition objectives and you'll have enough marketing experience recently to be able to intervene and get a little bit hands-on when it's called for. You'll sit between specialist Managers and "Head of" level, acting as a Brand Manager for this particular business unit.

You'll need to have experience in managing large budgets and a broad marketing background, ideally in a business with a heavy spend on B2C acquisition tactics. If this is a role where you may be looking for a step up, a title such as Campaign Manager or Brand Manager is likely to be relevant. They key is being able to strategise and take propositions to market with evidence of growing market share. You don't need to be a specialist in any particular area.

The opportunities longer-term are clear, with entry to international markets on the horizon and further recruitment planned in the near future. If ever there was a time to join this company, it's right about now!

If this Strategic Marketing Manager opportunity sounds interesting, please apply now with an up-to-date CV.
