Better Placed are currently seeking a Social Media Manager to join a growing consumer goods business with an international presence. You will be joining an already established marketing team with head offices on the outskirts of Sheffield.
Short-term this role will be a mixture of office and home-working, however, once things are back to normal (whenever that may be!) the role will be fully office-based. This position has come about due to continued growth throughout 2020 and the organisation has done fantastically well considering it's been an unstable year for most businesses.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for dealing directly with influencers and recruiting new ones on board for the Shopify and Amazon networks. You will be responsible for driving a successful earned media strategy that supports the organisations goals by helping create engaging content for brand campaigns and product launches.
Key tasks will involve generating effective relationships on the organisations social media channels to raise brand awareness and affiliate lead-generations. You will lead the strategy and execution of the short-term influencers' activations as well as managing the influencer marketing budget. You will keep up to date with emerging trends/technologies and proactively identify new and relevant influencers.
To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have a solid understanding of all social media channels including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Snapchat. A Couple of years' experience in an influencer or online PR role is required and you must have experience of working and networking with influencers.
