My client is one of the fastest-growing fintech businesses in the UK right now with head offices in central London. In the last 5 years, they have expanded rapidly, growing from 50 people to over 1,100 and with ambitions to IPO in the next few years. They have a number of best-in-class, consumer and business finance products and are constantly looking to hire great new talent to continue driving growth

They're currently seeking a Senior Product Analytics Manager to join the team and be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to help customers and avoid problem debt and get the most value from their account.

The successful candidate will be working across the organisations entire suite of products on strategies that affect all key business areas. You will solve a range of sophisticated challenges and will have a strong ability to articulate the commercial, customer and credit risk implications of your recommendations to different audiences. You will have real accountability for your projects and work closely with platform teams and change delivery leads to deliver outstanding experiences for customers and see your recommendations through to reality.

This role would suit somebody from an analytical background who is looking to apply their skills to real world challenges and deliver tangible product changes. They are looking for somebody who enjoys solving the difficult problems and who relishes being an advocate for excellence. You will become the authority on Customer Strategies and will develop a deep understanding of the regulatory and product development roadmap.

Key Duties:

  • Conducting data analysis and modelling to develop recommendations to improve customer strategies surrounding Persistent Debt and Default Fees.
  • Work alongside change delivery leads and platform teams to deliver your recommendations for customers.
  • Be immersed in the regulatory and industry themes that will impact consumer expectations and outcomes on the products, and that will change the way customers will use the credit card product.
  • Representing commercial and team interests when participating in the Change delivery projects and programs initiated by the Product & Customer Strategy team.
  • Connecting the proposals to the objectives of key partners around the business and balancing the conflicting risks that arise from the activities, e.g. marketing, legal, conduct, credit, finance or operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit risk or customer strategy within consumer finance portfolios
  • Commercial proficiency, with P&L experience and capability to deliver compelling business cases
  • Strong SQL knowledge - able to self serve and use very large datasets
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills to diagnose and interrogate datasets
  • Ability to influence key partners, promote ideas and work through the end to end project analysis, approval and implementation process

Central London Offices - 50/50 split between remote & office working.
