Better Placed are pleased to be working with one of the UK's leading consumer appliance companies and they are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join their team!

You will be reporting directly to the Independents/National Account Manager and you will be responsible for the management of specific accounts, where you will be responsible for the delivery of the sales strategy, forecasting, planning and execution across key accounts.

The Role:

  • Manage a specified UK sales territory to deliver the commercial objectives as directed
  • Achieve financial business objectives and deliver sales strategy as directed and agreed with NAM and Channel Controller
  • Research, plan and implement a business plan to deliver sales targets
  • To assist management of P&L delivery, as required by the business
  • To maintain and grow the business within account base and prospect for new business as required
  • Deliver sales presentations, negotiate, and deliver sales objectives
  • Use the understanding of strategic intents of customers, channels, and competitors to align categories to the requirements of the market
  • Source and share knowledge of existing and emerging customer needs and requirements
  • Attend Conferences, trade shows and meetings as directed by the requirements of the business.
  • Work with internal teams to support the requirements of the business
  • To be the Brand Ambassador for the territory
  • Manage customer communication and to be flexible in approach - documenting as appropriate to support the business
  • Create customers range architecture to maximize profitability
  • Awareness of market dynamics to meet category requirements

The Person:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Management/Sales
  • Passion for Brands and Commercial acumen
  • Demonstrable attention to detail in delivering sales objectives
  • IT Literate - Microsoft Office
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Work experience within FMCG or consumer durables
  • Track record in growing business with new and/or existing portfolio of accounts
