Fab opportunity to join a health and beauty business and help them develop new products! They are looking for FMCG experience, health and beauty experience would be a preference. They are a small team so being pro-active, hands-on and positive is super important for the right culture fit!
Job purpose & Main duties:
- Project manage own product ranges.
- Help implement NPD & product change initiatives (new product launches, product improvements, product value engineering etc.)
- Participate in brainstorming for new products/brands with other Team Members
- Prepare detailed product briefs for vendors ensuring they have all the necessary information to provide accurate quotations in a timely manner
- Obtain and negotiate cost prices and MOQ's with vendors collating quotations into summary comparison sheets for easy review and tracking
- Create and maintain critical paths for each of your project and liase with the relevant departments on these
- Day to day account management with suppliers building strong relationships to ensure speed to market of projects
- Visit far east suppliers and attending trade shows to source product, manage projects etc
- Work closely with Sales & Supply Chain to ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with customer expectations
- Assist with product approvals through licensor systems if/when necessary.
- Prepare brand presentation and any other marketing material/copy such as mood boards, brochures, leaflets etc.
- Help briefing or making mock-ups / sales samples etc.
- Arrange and distribute Pre-production, production and sales samples.
- Proof read and approve artwork
- Maintain regular store audit reports by carrying out market reviews and monitoring competitor activity.
General
- Manage product library & product photography.
- Manage fragrance/Formulation libraries as well as fragrance pyramids.
- Update range sheets
- Update price lists
- Other ad-hoc duties as required to ensure smooth running of PD such as despatching samples etc.
