They are now looking for a Head of Ecommerce to manage a team of five people in a second line leadership role.

Job Description

As a critical appointment for my client, the successful candidate will be;

  • Provide strategic direction and support for international markets to drive ecommerce growth

  • Own and develop the global ecommerce trading calendar, collaborating across multiple international teams and touchpoints to align on objectives and ensure consistency of message

  • Deliver the strategic direction for upcoming campaigns, promotions and new product launches

  • Monitor and react to performance, driving initiatives to increase conversion and KPIs

  • Data deep dives to identify trends, opportunities and areas to focus on/improve

  • Lead the direction of digital content development to improve onsite engagement & SEO visibility

  • Put in place plans to elevate UX and the shopping journey/experience, particularly on mobile

  • Work closely with the Design Studio and digital designers to enhance website design, championing a premium user experience

  • Develop and deliver ecommerce trading performance packs to the business and to all markets

  • Hold regular meetings with each market to develop a clear action plan to maximise local ecommerce performance

  • Work with Finance and Supply Chain for financial forecasting and to help facilitate stock management

  • Mentor and support the team to deliver best-in-class execution of all onsite activity

  • Collaborate with the wider team to define FE/BE development priorities and the project roadmap, also to select, implement and manage a new CRO tool

The Successful Applicant

The successful Head of Ecommerce will have;

  • Minimum of 5 years' online trading experience ideally in a fashion retail environment

  • Proven track record of driving sales and GM in an ecommerce team

  • Strong understanding of site merchandising principles

  • Advanced data analytic skills from multiple sources

  • Exceptional communication skills and able to represent department at all levels
