Better Placed are working with a category-leading consumer goods brand who are looking for an established Grocery National Account Manager to join their sales team. Main responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a commercial Joint Business Plans (JBP's) with the customers
- Setting the strategy for the Grocery customers
- Delivering profitable and sustainable sales growth
- Controlling budgets and forecasting
- Launching and driving NPD
- Implementing promotional strategies across key retail channels
- Liaising cross-functionally with NPD, Category and Marketing
- Building strong relationships with customer and key stakeholders
- Maintaining daily contact with customer and attending regular face-to-face meetings
What we need from you:
- Grocery sales background within FMCG is a must
- Great communicator both written and verbal
- Strong numerical skills
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Background in stimulating account growth through account management and new business development
- Ideally based in the North
