Better Placed are working with a category-leading consumer goods brand who are looking for an established Grocery National Account Manager to join their sales team. This is a fast-growing company with an ambitious global acceleration plan. They have a people-focused culture and fantastic opportunities for progression.

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a commercial Joint Business Plans (JBP's) with the customers
  • Setting the strategy for the Grocery customers
  • Delivering profitable and sustainable sales growth
  • Controlling budgets and forecasting
  • Launching and driving NPD
  • Implementing promotional strategies across key retail channels
  • Liaising cross-functionally with NPD, Category and Marketing
  • Building strong relationships with customer and key stakeholders
  • Maintaining daily contact with customer and attending regular face-to-face meetings

What we need from you:

  • Grocery sales background within FMCG is a must
  • Great communicator both written and verbal
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Background in stimulating account growth through account management and new business development
  • Ideally based in the North
