Better Placed are working with a software company based in Wetherby who are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist. This role is newly created due to continued growth. This candidate would be the 'digital lynchpin' that aligns field, marketing services and external agencies. This role is a hands on role however you will be working an agency as well.

Key responsibilities:

  • Have ongoing sessions with the regional teams to understand needs and rollout activities. Would not involve the agency unless required. You would have separate sessions with the agency, ultimately acting as the lynchpin.
  • You will set up and manage 'strategic' ads for centrally run campaigns across LinkedIn and other non-search platforms working with the regions on their requirements. Regions may also set up and run 'tactical' ads to support ABM and locally run campaigns.
  • The search agency will set up, manage and optimise ads across all relevant search engines. Your role will be to feed into this based on priorities and requirements across the companies territories, sign off activities, approve ad copy and manage the agency.
  • The search agency will produce the performance against KPIs for search, you will produce the overall digital landscape performance pack with commentary and action plans.
  • You will do on and off-page SEO analysis and work with the regional and Marketing & Communications team to take relevant action. The search agency can also input on strategy.
  • It will be your responsibility to make ongoing technical SEO changes to the website to optimise performance and apply best-practise across the territory sites. You will work with the Content Manager on content recommendations to balance SEO performance, CRO and company positioning, with the Content Manager making the content changes.
  • You will make recommendations on the social strategy to ensure an alignment of digital priorities and maximal performance of our social platforms. The Content Manager will primarily post content with you as a resource back up. The regional teams will manage their territory company profile, however you may offer advice to maximise digital impact.
  • Our Content Manager and creative agency will produce content which you can use with the regions to drive digital engagement. You will feed into this process based on digital campaigns and content requirements to deliver the accountabilities below, by briefing the Content Manager and following the procedure set out.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of paid media experience (search, social, 3rd party platforms and display networks)
  • Minimum 3 years of organic search experience (on and off page)
  • Experience/knowledge of international digital marketing - particularly in US, FR, DE, NL and UK
  • Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEM Rush, Optimizely
