Better Placed are pleased to be working with one of the UK's leading consumer appliance companies and they are looking for a Business Manager to join their team!

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Commercial and you will be responsible for the management of key national accounts where you will have accountability for the delivery of the strategy, forecasting, planning and execution of business targets. You will also have full account level P&L responsibility.

The Role:

  • You will have full P&L delivery and focus on driving profitable sales.
  • As the Business Manager, you will develop, execute, and evaluate commercial strategy aligning with colleagues in Sales, Market Channel Development, Category Marketing/Activation, Finance and Operations to achieve commercial objectives in UK.
  • Develop, coordinate, execute and monitor joint business plans for key customers with a focus on driving profitable sales out performance.
  • Drive brilliant execution at the point of purchase for defined customer sales drivers -Range, Space, price, promo activity, Feature & Display.
  • Deliver internal financial business objectives, whilst managing key customer relationships.
  • Input effectively to the monthly demand process ensuring accurate, timely and robust information flow.
  • Develop and maintain a motivating personal development plan - encompassing clear technical and behavioural development areas and an appropriately challenging action plan.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and other standards as directed by line management.

The Person:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Management/Sales
  • Understanding of key sales drivers
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering joint business plans
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation and selling skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience of Forecast and Planning
  • Experience of building and executing to Channel Strategies
  • Self-starter and results oriented
  • UK Driving Licence
  • IT Literate of Microsoft Office
