Following the successful completion of BT’s graduate management programme, Simon joined Michael Page in 1997 where he quickly progressed to become the Manager of their Leeds office. He then furthered his recruitment experience by joining the leading Search firm Odgers Ray & Berndtson, gaining an invaluable insight into recruiting at the most senior levels.
In 2001, Simon realised his dream of owning and developing his own recruitment business in the form of Better Placed Recruitment. For the past 9 years he has focused his time within the retail financial services, business services and consumer markets. During his years in the industry he has developed and secured longstanding relationships with some of the UK’s leading banks, building societies and service related organisations, operating as a recruitment partner when identifying and resourcing clients’ sales and marketing professionals.
As part of a strong, proven and established team of Directors, Simon continues to help take Better Placed Recruitment into new sectors, regions and organisations.
