Oct 06 - BETTER PLACED TEAM LANDS 3 NEW RECRUITS!!
The Leeds office of Better Placed Recruitment is celebrating after doing what it does best – recruiting. The agency has just scooped itself a hat trick of employees, as well as promoting another. Currently with offices in Leeds and Manchester, BPR specialises in the sales and marketing arena and counts HBOS, Alliance and Leicester and Nestle amongst its clients. The three employees joining the company are Lorna Steenberg, Catherine Beresford and Edward Parker, while Jonathan Voss has been promoted from Recruitment Consultant to Senior Recruitment Consultant. Lorna and Catherine both join as Senior Recruitment Consultants, while Edward has been appointed as Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Lorna, formerly of EMR Group brings with her five years of experience in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector, while Catherine’s expertise lies in the creative industries. Lorna said: “BPR is a relatively young company, with an ever growing market presence making it a very exciting place to work.” Catherine’s remit is to expand BPR’s creative element of the agency market place in order to complement the firms already established presence in this field. The third member of the trio Edward Parker joins from advertising agency McCann Erickson. Edward is being trained by the newly promoted Jonathan Voss. Jonathan, who has been at BPR for just over two years is now heading up the expanding retail, leisure and mail order sector. BPR’s Director Dean Bartle said: “This is an exciting time for us. As a growing company we’re always on the lookout for the very best talent, as well as developing the talent we already have in the team. Jonathan’s promotion and the recruitment of Lorna, Catherine and Edward are testament to this.”
