Working for a rapidly expanding, exciting company in the alternative finance marketplace, you will be responsibly for building profitable regional field sales teams to expand the company’s influence in the alternative finance sector.
You would manage this team remotely either from the company’s head office, or for the right candidate, you could be based remotely elsewhere.
The company is an exciting start-up that saw the problems that SMEs and small businesses had in finding affordable, suitable sources of financing, whatever their objectives. Instead of going to monopoly banks unwilling to lend, why can’t companies find financing online like people search for holidays and car insurance?
The company is partnered with the government, who have introduced a scheme that automatically refers SMEs that have had their finance applications to big banks turned down. Given that the banks reject £4.5bn per year in commercial loans; this is a significant inbound channel. The company is going from strength to strength with its 2016 revenues growing six-fold from 2015.
Using financial technology combined with an expert team of Account Managers, the firm has helped thousands of SMEs to find financing. In terms of lenders, they have a range of options from auction markets places, venture capital, challenger banks, asset managers and even larger high street banks themselves.

- Experience of successfully selling to SMEs.
- Tangible experience of having built successful field sales teams.
- The ability to travel and maintain a strong level of communication, managing remotely.
- Experience in the alternative finance space would also be a plus.
The package comprises of an incredibly competitive basic depending on the candidate’s relevance. In addition there is a very generous commission scheme in place + equity.
