Our client is a successful food manufacturer supplying some of the UK’s biggest retailers with value added products. A new role has arisen within the customer availability team to support the management of products through the Co-Op supply chain, working collaboratively with the commercial team. This role would see the successful candidate being based in the Co-op head office, acting as ambassador for our client and driving collaboration with Co-Op. You will be in Manchester 3 days per week with the other two being spent at our clients head office in Yorkshire.
The Supply Chain Implant will focus on availability, investigating and analysing issues around on shelf availability and managing stock and waste targets. The role will involved supporting the supply chain analysts with promotional forecasting, analysing promotional performance during promotions and conducting post promotional reviews. Collaboration is key to success in this role, the ability to drive initiatives between supplier and retailer and manage the flow of business intelligence is vital.
You will ideally be an experienced supply chain professional with experience of sales order processing and distribution planning. You will be an excellent relationship builder with demonstrable success in building strong cross functional relationships. You must have excellent analytic skills with good working knowledge of Excel.
