My client is one of the most exciting, fast growing and successful brands in the new wave of consumer led, digital first financial institutions. They’ve grown exponentially in the last few years (from 50 staff to over 300 in their London office since 2015). They’re already a major player in the UK credit market, with established own and co brand propositions, which includes working with some of the top, best loved UK and international retailers – and they’re now looking to expand further.
In 2018, they launched a best-in-class ePOS proposition and they have already signed a number of hugely exciting ecommerce partners. They see this as a huge growth opportunity for their business – and so they are now looking for two partnership development managers, who’ll be responsible for consulting across their retail / ecommerce network and beyond, prospecting exciting new partners, developing cutting edge propositions with them, and launching them in to the market.
This is a rare opportunity, and a great one for the right person – it’s a unique chance to play a lead part in an extremely high calibre team, with a strong foundation of investment, infrastructure, and a proven business model. As a result, there is massive potential for growth and development, both for the organisation and the successful incumbents.
It would be highly advantageous for someone to have spent time in / around the personal finance space – so retail, retail finance, payments, cards etc. You’ll need to have relevant experience in a partnerships / affinity role, product / proposition, or strategy. As you would expect, the role requires a certain degree of tenacity, hunger, and a willingness to affect change, that in turn will make the right person a great success.
